Mills Handyman was founded in 2014 by Marcus Mills, a third-generation craftsman who grew up watching his father and grandfather fix, build, and maintain homes across the Bay Area. After years working for larger contractors, Marcus saw a gap in the market: property managers needed a reliable, skilled handyman they could call without the overhead of a big company.
He started with a truck, a toolbox, and a reputation for showing up on time and doing the job right. Word spread fast. Within two years, Mills Handyman had grown to a team of licensed tradespeople serving landlords and property managers from San Francisco to San Jose.
Today, we handle everything from quick tenant repairs to full unit turnovers — always with the same commitment to quality, transparency, and reliability that Marcus built the business on.
